Take this opportunity to cultivate a greater awareness of your body as it grows your baby and prepares for birth!!

We will incorporate gentle yoga poses, breath work and meditation to increase flexibility, generate calmness and confidence in what our bodies are created to do, birth our babies!

When practiced mindfully, yoga increases flexibility, strength, circulation and balance. Pregnancy is a physical experience – and yoga allows Mom to adapt more gracefully to these changes and to feel a sense of integration and appreciation for her body. Many women find that regular yoga practice helps to reduce swelling, back & leg pain, and insomnia.

Yoga can also help to deepen the bond between Mom and Baby by giving time each work for Mom to focus solely on her baby, without any outside distractions.  We will also build community with other expecting moms and work through our fears about labor and birth.  Reducing these common stressors will reduce the stress to your baby through your pregnancy and delivery.

No previous yoga experience necessary and is appropriate for all fitness levels.
